The seventh-annual UMGC Giving Day, Wednesday, April  24, 2024, is dedicated to uniting the UMGC community to providing financial support to UMGC students helping them to achieve their education goals. To make this year’s Giving Day a success, we need your help in getting the word out. Please see the steps below to get started. Social Media Checklist

Between Now - April 23: Before #GivingDayUMGC

Follow UMGC Alumni on Facebook, X and Instagram to engage with the posts leading up to April 24.
There will be a lot of conversation surrounding Giving Day, so join in by adding your posts to the Giving Day website.
- First go to Giving Day
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Join the Conversation" section.
- Click "Add Post".

Fill out your post and add an image (sample can be found below - feel free to post your own image too):

Click "Submit Post." Once approved, your post will appear in the feed on the website.

On April 24: #GivingDayUMGC

Make your gift! Visit impact.umgc.edu/giving-day to get started.
If you have not done so already, join the conversation by adding your post to the Giving Day website using the directions above.
Post on your social media channels using the #GivingDayUMGC hashtag to help us spread the word to your followers.
Share the UMGC alumni posts throughout the day on your social media channels to help raise awareness and help meet the challenges supporting students.
