    Scholarships for students who have financial need.
  • Patrick L. Brown First Responders Scholarship
    Scholarships for first responders seeking to earn their degrees or take one of UMGC's Public Safety Leadership programs.
  • Lyn and Barry Chasen Scholarship
    Scholarships for either graduate or undergraduate students.
  • Susan Clatchey Endowed Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Donna H. Cunninghame Endowed Scholarship
    Scholarships for students in any of the three divisions of UMGC, with preference given to single parents.
  • Patricia I. Currey Scholarship
    Scholarships for students studying psychology whose academic emphasis is in clinical science.
  • Drake Family Endowed Scholarship
    Scholarships for students in cybersecurity degree programs including BS in Cybersecurity Management and Policy, MS in Cybersecurity Management and Policy, MS in Cybersecurity Technology, or MS in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigation.
  • Ray Ehrensberger Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships for students enrolled at any of the three UMGC divisions.
  • Mathilde Eiker Memorial/Irving and Iverna Foote Tribute Scholarship
    Scholarships for students who reside in Washington, D.C., or Prince George’s County, or who have attended public secondary school in either of those jurisdictions, with preference given to students choosing a specialization in English language or literature.
  • Albert L. & Jeanette L. Emmel Memorial Scholarship
    Scholarships for students enrolled at any of the three UMGC divisions.
  • The Jonathan S. and Patricia G. England Foundation Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate students maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher and graduate students maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher; students must also demonstrate financial need.
  • Thomas Farrell Memorial Scholarship
    Scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students at UMGC.
  • Gerencser Family Scholarship for Cybersecurity Students
    Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in cybersecurity; students must also demonstrate financial need and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Laird Lott and Linda Gooden Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in STEM programs.
  • Richard E. Horsley Memorial Scholarship
    Scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students majoring in business administration.
  • Willis T. Lansford Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in information technology with a preference given to undergraduate students seeking a degree in information systems management and graduate students seeking a degree in information systems and services specialization.

    Scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in information technology or computer science.
  • T. Benjamin Massey Scholarship
    Scholarship for students who have progressed in their academic careers but need financial assistance to complete their degree.
  • Edgar M. Mathews Endowed Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate students maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher and graduate students maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher; students must also demonstrate financial need.
  • Shirley Merica Memorial Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Merit Scholarship
    Scholarships for UMGC undergraduate students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and graduate students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Millennial Scholarship
    Scholarships for students at UMGC, based on financial need.
  • Minor-Montgomery Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Near Completers Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships for undergraduate students who have completed more than 100 credits and have a 3.0 GPA and graduate students who have complete more than 30 credits and have a 3.5 GPA.
  • NJVC Endowed Scholarship
    Scholarships for students currently enrolled in the cybersecurity program; students must also demonstrate financial need and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • The Orkand Near Completers Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships for students who are close to degree completion but cannot continue their studies due to financial constraints.
  • Leroy Hurtel Pailen Jr. and Loyce Best Pailen Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students.
  • Edward A. and Marjorie M. Parnell Scholarship
    Scholarships for students enrolled at UMGC.
  • Nancy E. and Edward Parnell Scholarship
    Scholarships for students enrolled at the university.
  • Pateman Scholarship Fund
    Providing general scholarship support based on financial need.
  • Peck Family Scholarship
    Scholarships for students who have children and need financial assistance.
  • Minnie L. Peterson Memorial Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields offered at UMGC, such as information technology (all specializations). In addition, students studying business are also eligible.
  • Phi Kappa Phi UMGC Local Chapter 022UC Scholarship
    Scholarships in recognition of academic excellence by student members of Phi Kappa Phi UMGC Local Chapter 022UC.
  • Pillars of Strength Scholarship Program
    Scholarships for students who are volunteer caregivers of injured military servicemembers.
  • Southern Maryland Scholarship
    Scholarships for students who are residents of Southern Maryland.
  • Joan F. Stern Endowed Scholarship
    Scholarships for UMGC students.
  • Tau Chapter/Alpha Sigma Lambda Endowed Fund
    Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.

    Scholarships for students, with a preference given to students studying American history.

    Scholarships for students enrolled at UMGC.

    Scholarships for students working toward a degree at any of UMGC’s worldwide locations.
  • UMGC Endowed Anniversary Scholarship
    Scholarships for stateside and overseas students who maintain a GPA of 2.25 or higher and demonstrate financial need, with preference given to students studying online.
  • Alix Volel Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Scholarships for graduate, undergraduate, and certificate program students who are enrolled in information technology–related fields, including project management.
  • Westates Holdings LLC Scholarship
    Scholarships for students attending UMGC.
  • Whitfield Endowed Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate students maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher and graduate students maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with preference given to parents residing in the Washington, D.C./Maryland/Virginia area; students must also demonstrate financial need.
  • George W. Wilson Jr. Scholarship
    Scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting and information technology or related fields of study.
  • Dr. Michael S. Frank Business Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarship support to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in the School of Business.
