Become a Friend of The Arts UMGC

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) has cultivated and grown its permanent art collections since 1978. The Maryland Artist Collection is one of the largest compilations of work by Maryland artists. The International Collection includes works by some of the nation's leading art figures, while The Asian Collection comprises centuries of Asian art, including Chinese ceramics and traditional scrolls that date as far back at the Tang Dynasty, as well as contemporary Japanese prints.

Your gifts to the UMGC Arts Program bring art to the community and help support the university's collections. By becoming a Friend of the Arts, you have the opportunity to network with artists, build and support collections, and socialize with friends while enjoying works by leading and emerging artists worldwide.

Give to the UMGC Arts Program today!

Message From Eric Key

As the Director of UMGC's Arts Program, I personally, cannot imagine a world without art. Art has its aesthetic value, historical content, and technical qualities. It soothes the soul,  enriches the mind, and directs the future. The UMGC Arts Program is building a vibrant collection for generations to come and we hope you will be a part of its development. Be a part of the conversation!
